Skylar Park was born to shine in Taekwondo; since she was little she was trained to do something big and has the economic resources to achieve it.



Skylar Park won a bronze medal on May at the 2019 World Taekwondo Championships in Manchester, Great Britain. This was Park’s first career medal at the World Taekwondo Championships and Canada’s first medal at the World Taekwondo Championships since Jasmine Vokey of Calgary, Alberta won the bronze medal in the women’s 73 kilogram middleweight division in 2013 in Puebla, Mexico.

To qualify for the Olympic Games directly by the points of the ranking you need to compete and to travel you need money, Park has the resources to travel to the skills and talent to achieve results.

Since 2016 he has competed in 33 events, including competition in the category of adults being youth. The young women are a few points from the fifth position in the ranking and get the direct pass to Tokyo 2020.




Park’s has not two, but three generations of taekwondo blood running through her veins. The daughter of Master Jae Park (her coach) she is the granddaughter of Master Deuk-hwa Park, who migrated from Korea to Canada in 1977; out of his ten grandchildren, nine hold black belts. The family runs a successful dojang in Winnipeg.
